Our First Day

The animals sculptures carved by Flint Edwards, are the special features of our Flag Motel at Belmont that provides one chair and a pillow each!!!  Flights were comfortable.  After a couple of Gins, we slept well and woke to the Twitter of B birds at 5 am.   We are now bright eyed and bushy tailed to hit the road into Perth to see wild flowers in Kings Park. 

We have DONE Kings Park. AND the gift shop there.  We found a Car space at the parking station at the railway station, walked across bridge to art gallery,  and perished the gift shop.  We are lunching at the gallery cafe before seeing gallery.  We will then find our way to City Beach to Margery 

and Richard.  Margery was my primary school reacher at a small school at Kanighan, two  miles from my home.  Margery boarded with us for two years, and rode her bicycle over the gravel road to teach the 11 students at the school situated in the horse paddock at the junction of the main highway and Kanyan Road.  It was a special visit as I was able to reminisce about my mother.
