After an early start we drove to Ocean Beach and McGeary's Beach. Saw a whale doing its thing!
Back to town for a coffee, then went to art galleries and a wonderful book shop. Ten ladies have set up a gallery in the old Butter Factory, all brilliant artists. The antique shop across the road was amazing. Her cat had the best chair to sleep upon. We could have spent hours in the beautiful town, but wanted to do the tree walk before dark. Not before turning off the highway to see a waterfall at the beach and Greens Pool.
We arrived at The Valley of the Giants at 3 pm. Paid $13 and started the walk amongst the tree tops. Was somewhat shaky. A great piece of engineering. The walk is 420 metres long. It soars gently upwards , 40 metres into the tingle foliage before descending to the Ancient Empire Walk.
We are now at a very comfortable motel at Walpole. Dinner at a hotel again. There is no ABC coverage here!!!!n withdrawn symptoms,
