Our motel was so comfortable. After breakfast, we drove to the Whaling station where we had a good coffee and a muffin. Viewed the King George Sound and lure white sand. Then drove to Salmon Bay to see the Great Southern Ocean. Can you believe we struck up a conversation with a couple from Bargara.
After driving to a northern beach we went into a building beside the beach to have lunch. After 10 minutes waiting to be served we walked out and ate at the Entertainment centre. Sat on a poof in a corner listening to horrible music which I politely asked a nice young chap to change. We ate chilly vegetables and noodles washed down with a cup of tea. Was awash with sauce which warmed the body. Pamela ate very little as her stomach is fussy. She is still burping!!!
We left beautiful Albany at 3 pm,making the scenic route for a few kilometres. Instead of seeing grain fields, we saw green paddocks dotted with cattle. Black, white and Brindle.
Went to the information centre who directed us to accommodation.
We are staying at the Koorabup Motel. A spacious room with pressed earth walls. Ceiling is raked and of beautiful local timber. From the balcony, we view bushland, have already seen Daisy's cousins. They are vocal right now. There is so much to see here. A tree walk, galleries and wineries.
Tonight We'll eat at the tavern which is next door to the motel
